the short version
neuroprint is a UK sole-trader shop. This page says what data the shop holds, why, and who else touches it. The short version: we keep what we need to take your order, make it, and post it – your name, email and address, plus what you bought. We never see your card details. No advertising trackers, no analytics company watching you browse.
what we collect and why
Order details. When you order, we collect your name, email, billing and shipping address, and what you bought. They are stored in the shop’s database, hosted for us by our website hosting provider, and used to fulfil your order, send order emails, and handle returns. We keep order records for at least 6 years for tax and accounting; you can ask us to anonymise yours earlier.
Account details. If you create an account, we store your login and saved addresses so checkout is faster next time. Email us to delete the account.
Downloads. For digital orders (wallpapers, digital poster files) we keep a record of when the download link was used, so the link keeps working for you and so we can spot abuse.
Emails. If you email us, we keep the thread so we can actually help.
who else touches your data
Stripe takes the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them. Stripe sets its own fraud-prevention cookies and processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
Our UK print partner. To make and post your order we send them your name, shipping address and the artwork for your order. They post it with Royal Mail. We don’t pass your email address to the courier.
Address lookup. The checkout address field offers autocomplete suggestions; what you type there is sent to our address lookup provider’s API to find matching UK addresses.
Fonts and hosting. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees standard request metadata (IP address, browser type). The site is hosted by a third-party provider, which keeps standard server logs, and the shop loads a small support script from the provider’s content delivery network.
cookies
Yes, this shop uses cookies – the practical kind: basket and session cookies so your bag survives page loads, small attribution cookies so we know how people find the shop, and Stripe’s fraud-prevention cookies at checkout. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
your rights
Email orders@neuroprint.co.uk and we will tell you what we hold about you in plain English, correct it, or delete what we no longer need for tax or an open order. We answer within 7 days.
complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your data and emailing us hasn’t fixed it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Our ICO registration is pending and will be added here once it is issued.
